Neem oil disrupts insect hormones over time. It was designed as a preventative — not a knockdown solution. Enzyme-based sprays work differently: the formula physically dissolves the exoskeleton and blocks the respiratory system of soft-bodied insects on direct contact. The pest cannot breathe or feed.
